permanent or scarring. I was only thinking of spanking you.”
Beach felt his cheeks—both sets—heat up like fresh sunburn. He nodded.
“A consequence shouldn’t be something you like. Especially if it keeps you out of the kind of trouble you get into. But I tell you what. We’ll do different things. I won’t spank you unless you ask me for it.”
Since Beach was positive that would never happen, he was happy to agree.
“Good. Now get up here and kiss me.”
Beach considered himself to be an average-sized man. Clothes were easy enough to come by, even if he bought them off the rack, a standard size. But as Tai pulled Beach onto his lap, he felt Eli-sized and more aware of what Tai’s dominance brought out in Beach than when on his knees. An improbable wave of shyness put a light tremble in his hand as he put a palm on Tai’s face.
Leaning in for the kiss, Beach realized he was out of his element in more ways than one. Kissing was a means to an end. Necessary and fun with women. With men it was usually an accompaniment to the hard slam of bodies, the rough urgency spilling into groans pushed into each other’s mouths with tongues.
But Beach was always up for a challenge. He held Tai with both hands and put their lips together.
Soft-hard flesh and the silky prickle of Tai’s goatee greeted Beach’s effort. He waited, then drew back.
“I told you to kiss me,” Tai said.
Beach had thought the point of being with Tai was that Beach could take orders and coast on the feelings, but all right, he could manage this much. He parted his lips and pressed in again, teasing sensation with a flick of his tongue, like he would do if he were trying to seal the deal with a woman as they stood outside her door.
There wasn’t much reaction. Beach held Tai’s face more firmly, tilting it to be able to get in closer, and kissed him, forgetting about anything but how he wanted to make Tai feel, respond. Beach had to know he’d gotten it right. No calculation, pure hunger and need.
Tai’s hand came up to hold the back of Beach’s head, and Tai kissed him back. Relief was almost as sweet as an orgasm. Tai shared his mouth, his tongue, texture and taste. That sent a hot jolt to Beach’s dick, an explosion of bass under his diaphragm. He drew away for breath and realized the explosion was only the start of the fireworks down in the harbor.
“The earth moved for you too, huh?” Tai smiled, the corners of his eyes crinkling.
Beach put a hand on his chest. “I was breathless.”
With a snort of laughter Tai dragged them both into a more horizontal position. “Not yet, but you’re going to be.”
Holding Beach’s head, Tai took the kiss from Beach. Not with the subtle give-and-take they’d been doing, but with a full assault of mouth and tongue. He was right. Beach couldn’t breathe. Oxygen was overrated when a man was this focused on him, was pinning him with a hand at his neck and ass, forcing sensation into his body, building the tension with the dry hump of their hips together.
Beach let it all go, let Tai shift him, hold him, kiss him in whatever way suited making out on the couch because Beach had no doubt about how this was going to end. His dick already associated the sounds from Tai’s throat with very good things. The dizzying pulse of lust promised an epically memorable orgasm. Though the dizzy part could be from the loss of oxygen. Right when the pressure in Beach’s lungs got unpleasant, Tai released him.
“Take your pants off again and kneel for me, David.”
He would have resented the interruption if it wasn’t for the lurch of excitement in his gut. This was what he’d come here for. Not only the sex but the rush that came from Tai telling him what to do.
“Good boy.” Tai ran a thumb over Beach’s mouth. “Stay right there.”
His footsteps moved away behind Beach. There was a lot of this Beach liked, but the next time they had a conversation, he was going to point out how goddamned
