    “Shut up,” she mumbled, a blush staining her cheeks as
she ducked her head.
    “You love me, Lexa.”
    “You’re an idiot and if you ever say that again, I’m
going to beat your stupidly handsome face in,” she snapped
warningly, her face bright red.
    Grinning wider, Seth swooped down, kissing her fiercely until she
moaned and clutched his shirt for balance. “You’re also
really cute when you’re yelling at me,” he whispered,
pecking her a final time on the lips.
    “Jackass,” she muttered, unable to stop her own smile.
She grabbed his hand before he turned to step around the car, kissing
his knuckle briefly. “And I might just love you.”
    Ignoring Seth’s beaming smile, Alexa quickly escaped into
the car.
    Goddess this love thing was significantly worse than crushing. She
could only hope she’d survive it.
