Finishing the Head Wrap
    On one edge of the head wrap, sew a button in the middle of each raised ridge (3 buttons for the 3 1 ⁄ 4 "-wide [8.3cm] head wrap, 4 buttons for the 4 1 ⁄ 4 "-wide [10.8cm] head wrap). This row of buttons will be placed behind the head or neck (if you are using it as a neck wrap). Fold the other end over and button through the opposite raised ridge holes of your choice to obtain a perfect fit. Sew the remaining button onto the side of the head wrap and button on your favorite motif.

Adjustable Ribbed Head Wrap (1–3 years)
    With 2 strands of sport weight yarn or 1 strand of worsted weight yarn, ch 65.
    Row 1: Hdc in 3rd ch from hook, hdc in each ch across. (64 hdc)
    Row 2: Turn, ch 2 (counts as hdc now and throughout), * fphdc around next hdc, rep from * across to last st, hdc in last st. (64 hdc)
    Row 3: Turn, ch 2, * bphdc around next hdc, rep from * across to last st, hdc in last st. (64 hdc)
    Row 4: Turn, ch 2, hdc in next st and in each st across. (64 hdc)
    Row 5: Turn, ch 2, * bphdc around next hdc, rep from * across to last st, hdc in last st. (64 hdc)
    Row 6: Turn, ch 2, * fphdc around next hdc, rep from * across to last st, hdc in last st. (64 hdc)
