asked, his eyebrows pulling together.
"Oh yeah, I forgot."
Alex smirked a moment, then his face went blank again. Hmm....random much.
We passed the college and headed pass the beach turn off to the docking area. Warehouses lined the dark street. There were hardly any lights and it was dead silent as we drove deeper into the warehouse district, I could hear a faint beat of music.
Pulling into a back alley, Alex parked the car. There were quite a few cars lined up already.
"How many people are here?" I asked getting out of the car. A soft thumping noise radiated from the building but aside from that it was eerily quiet.
"Fifty or more," Alex shrugged. My eyes almost popped out at that. Looking at the building I wondered if that many people could fit in there? Slinging his arm over my shoulders Alex led me to a back door and knocked three times. A slot in the door opened and from that little hole music blasted into the alley.
"Open up," Alex ordered. The slot slide shut and the door flung open. My heart skipped a beat as the pulse of the music vibrated through me. Alex pulled me into the doorway and a big burly bouncer looking guy shut the door behind us.
As we headed down the hall the music got louder and was almost deafening. It caused my heart to flutter erratically and my body was itching to move to the rhythm. Entering the main room there was quite a bit of people there already but the large room wasn't full yet.
"Oliver's at the DJ booth," Alex yelled over the music, pointing to the left side of the room where eight huge speakers sat, with a table in the center with a laptop and turntables on it. My eyes landed on Oliver, who was talking to the DJ. My eyes traveling over his bare arms, the muscles flexing as he lifted his hand to move his silky black hair out of his eyes. He wore a tight black muscle shirt and baggy black pants with chains hanging from them, three spiked belts hung loosely around his waist.
"Stop drooling, Ever," Alex laughed elbowing me in the side. I snapped out of my trance and smacked Alex.
"I'm not!" I yelled at him. Without looking back at Alex I pushed my way through the crowd toward Oliver. He had stopped talking to the DJ and was now looking over the crowd. As I got closer his eyes locked on me. Moving forward, he hopped off the stage landing in front of me. People scattered to get out of his way.
I was shocked when he pulled me close to him. "Hey," he muttered into my ear.
"Err...hi," I replied awkwardly trying to keep my eyes off him.
He chuckled, "You look beautiful." His lips grazed my ear and I resisted the shutter that coursed through my body. I turned my head and looked into the crowd, my face burning. A few people nearby were staring at us making me self-conscience.
"Come on," he told me wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me through the crowd. People parted like water as Oliver lead me to a make shift bar where Jake and Tyler were making drinks for people.
"Ever!" Jake exclaimed grinning.
"Hey Jake, hey Tyler," I gave a small wave. Tyler kind of waved back and went back making drinks.
"You seen Logan?" Oliver asked Jake. Jake shook his head.
"He was supposed to be picking up Robby and John, but that was like a while ago."
Oliver pursed his lips. "Try his cell, John's place is close to South side. You know how Jason is."
Jake nodded pulling his cell out of his pocket and moving away from the bar. Jet
