he used his thumbs to massage the muscles on her soles. “I don’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable. And I…Well, I worry that what happened between us—”
She got his meaning. “They didn’t rape me, if that’s what you’re asking.” Her tone was more brittle than intended. “But, let’s just say that I don’t like feeling out of control.”
He nodded and smiled down at her toes before pressing his lips to the top of her foot. She’d expected pushing, interrogation, not his quiet acceptance.
Despite how little Alara had shared, it was still more than she’d told anyone else. Strangely she felt lighter, relieved. With a small smile, she rolled onto her stomach and lifted her robe to her waist. To her pleasure, the dragon let out a soft curse.
He passed the damp cloth over the backs of her thighs. “I swear I will do nothing to hurt you.”
The dragon’s serious words stimulated her in places she didn’t even know existed. As he passed the cloth over the curve of her ass, images of him curled over her back, arching into her parted legs bombarded her mind. She inched her legs apart.
He passed the material along her crease then between her buttocks, and her whimpers filled the room. Kai’s hand stroked the soft skin and massaged the muscles there. “I would like to touch the places I washed…and perhaps to pass my lips across them as well. Would you allow me?”
Her reply was high-pitched and whispery. “Yeah. I’d like that.” He growled agreement at her response. The unexpected sound caused her core to clench. Alara moved to roll back over, but his hand held at her hip, and his calloused finger passed along her folds from behind. She didn’t feel controlled or forced, just encouraged to stay on her stomach. She was happy to comply.
Kai dipped into the moisture collecting at her center and spread it to the sensitive spots he’d learned. Those rough digits stroked gently, then more firmly until her hips rolled in time with his touch. He pulled her hips up and back so that she was on her knees and her core was level with his mouth. The movement surprised her, but his hot breath tickled her inner thigh, and she forgot to be reluctant.
Many of her lovers had been talented and inventive, but none had explored her as shamelessly as the dragon. His tongue tasted every crevice and probed every borough. He’d long since found her clitoris and alternated stroking it with his finger and his tongue until she lowered her face and shoulders to the floor to give him better access. Each time she sighed or cried out or clenched her inner muscles against him, he answered with a masculine grunt of contentment. She couldn’t spread her knees wide enough, tilt her ass high enough, or reveal her core bare enough. He took every inch of her, and she still wanted to give him more. Her deepest muscles shook and tremored at the approach of orgasm.
As it began, he released her, so Alara rubbed the heel of her hand over her mound as wave after wave of release crumpled her to the floor. She cried out in rhythmic mewls. As the last spasms cleared she noticed the sound of Kai’s breath hitching in his throat at her every moan.
He’d pressed his back into the side of her bed, his arms crossed at his chest, and his eyes wide. She crawled toward him, each rub of her thighs stoking her fire hotter. His gaze burned into her. “You are a goddess.”
She smiled. “And you are a very quick learner.” His folded arms relaxed when he caught her hint of humor.
Kai’s eyes darted to the spot on the floor where she’d writhed just moments ago. “I was unaware that females had that kind of response.”
A fresh swell of desire rushed through her. Gods, she wanted this male. “Well, maybe dragon females don’t. I guess you’ll find out…” She had thought to say when you finally fuck one but thought better of it. She didn’t want to think about him with anyone else tonight, no matter what species.
    He stroked his hand
