    “It’sonlyten.Thepartyisn’tduetofinishuntileleven.Shemighthavetostayuntiltheend.”Ben turnedontheTVandflickedthroughthestationsuntilhefoundthesportsshowtheyalwayswatched.
    Agentletapatthedoorbroughtthembothtotheirfeet.Benwasnearer,sohegottherefirstandhe yankedthedooropentofindDawnstandingontheirporch,lookingnervous.
    “Come on in,” he said, turning to walk back into the room, nudging Garrett ahead of him and forcinghimtogiveheralittlespace.
    Shefollowedthemtotheseatingareaandsatdownatthefarendofthesofa,asiftryingtokeep herdistance.Bencouldseeithadtakenalotofcourageforhertocome.
    “Wouldyoulikeadrink?Wegotyouabottleofwine.Ihopewhite’sokay?”Garrettwentintothe kitchen,returningstraightawaywiththebottleandaglass.Hepouredadrinkforherandputitinher hand.Bennoticedshewastremblingasshetookasip.
    “Howdidyougetawayfromyourfriends?”Hesmiledather,tryingtosettlehernerves.
    “Ileftthemattheparty.SallyandRuthwerestilldancingwiththoseguyswemetearlier,Juliehas disappearedsomewhere,Iassumewithoneofthemenshe’sbeenleadingaroundbythenoseallweek, andJenleftatthesametimeassomeoftheotherguestsandhasgonehometosleep.”
    “Soyouwon’tbemissed?”Garrettasked.
    Dawntookagulpofherwine,wipingadropfromherlipassheswallowed.“Iguessnot.”
    “Thenthere’snoreasonyoucan’tstayallnight?”
    Sheshookherhead,hergazefixedonherdrink.Garrettmovedtojoinheronthesofa,takingthe glassoutofherhandandputtingit,alongwithhisbeer,onthecoffeetable.
    BenthoughtabouttellinghimtobackoffandgiveheraminutebutmaybeGarrettwasright.They all knew what was going to happen and, if the previous night had been anything to go by, Dawn preferredtohavethedecisiontakenoutofherhands.
    “DidItellyouhowbeautifulyouareyet?”
    Garrettbrushedhisthumbacrosshercheekboneanddownoverherjawasshestaredupathim, vulnerability making her blue eyes wide. He reached up behind her head and took the clip out of her hair,thrustinghisfingersintohertressesastheyfell.Benwatchedashereyelidsflutteredshutandher lipspartedasshewaitedforGarretttokissher.HismouthclosedoverhersandBensawatremblerace acrossherfleshasherhandsclaspedGarrett'shead.
    Theurgetogetinthemiddleofthemwasastrongone,butBencouldn’tmove.Hewatchedthem, almost transfixed by how much it turned him on to see them together. Garrett nibbled his way across Dawn’sjaw,slidinghisheadunderherchintolickatherneck.Hisgazetravelleddownward,comingto stoponthecurveofherbreasts,andhehookedafingerinsidethefrontofthebodiceonherdressand slowly,slowly,pulleditdownward,groaningwhenheexposedhererect,darkpinknipples.Hislarge handclosedoverherbreast,andhesqueezed,makingDawnmoanaloud.
    Benslidfromhischairandjoinedthem,unabletostayawayanylonger.
