A Summer Hope (Summer Dream Book 3)
Chapter 1
“You look amazing.” Carson had Lillah in his arms the moment she opened the door.
With a laugh, Lillah kissed him on the cheek. “Let’s go. I’m so hungry, I’m going to collapse.”
Lillah couldn’t help but smile as Carson opened the car door for her. It was Saturday night and they were going out to dinner. Just the two of them.
Although Lillah had already had more sex with Carson than she had in the last six months with her ex-husband, she was still as excited as if it was a first date.
Which, in a way, it was. She had spent time alone with Ty before, but never with Carson.
Lillah hadn’t expected to be over her ex so soon. Hell, she hadn’t even been thinking about dating yet when she met Ty and Carson.
Now all three of them were involved with each other. That was something she still couldn’t quite get her head around. She had never even thought of anything like this in her entire life.
And now that she was in the middle of it, she couldn’t get enough.
Having a threesome wasn’t included in any of the divorce-recovery-for-women blogs that Lillah had read. She was going to have to let them know that hot sex with two hot men should be number one on the list. No question.
“Have you ever been to Splice before?” Carson glanced her way.
“No.” She hadn’t even heard of it, but she wasn’t going to admit that.
    “You’ll like it.”
He took the next exit and a few minutes later, they were bypassing a short line and Carson was giving his name to the hostess.
She led them past the outdoor bar and over to a nice table at the far end of the patio. The space was fairly busy but the strings of lights winding between the tall trees made it feel romantic.
Faint strains of jazz played in the background under the murmur of voices. It wasn’t the kind of place Lillah had expected Carson to bring her to, but he was right. She liked it already.
Lillah settled into her seat, glancing over at Carson while he scanned the menu. He was one of the most attractive men she had ever seen, although he didn’t look anything like any other man she had been involved with.
His dark hair, dark eyes and well-muscled body gave him an intensely sexy look. So different from Ty’s laid-back warmth. Maybe they could skip dinner and go right back to his place.
Looking up from the menu, he caught her staring.
“See something you like?” Carson flashed a big grin as Lillah blushed.
“Sure.” She almost choked on the word. Obviously he had caught her staring at him. Her dating skills were rusty at best these days.
“How do you feel about champagne? Something special for our first real night out.” It was slightly surreal, the way he was treating this as if it was a proper date, considering all the wild sex they had already had. But Lillah wasn’t complaining.
    “That sounds lovely.”
The waiter came by the table to take their order and after he left, Carson leaned back in his chair. “Tell me all about yourself.”
Lillah had to marvel how, at that moment, Carson was able to make her feel like she was the centre of his world.
“There’s really not very much to tell.”
“Oh, that can’t be true. At the very least, not every woman would be open to getting together with two guys the way you have.”
“It’s not something I’ve ever done before.” Lillah tried to think of a way to steer the conversation around to him instead of her. To her relief, it wasn’t long before the waiter arrived with their food.
When they were alone again, Carson didn’t push her to talk about herself. They chatted easily, getting to know each other as if it really was a first date.
After their plates were taken away and they ordered dessert, Carson leaned in close, picking up Lillah’s hand.
“There’s something I’d like to do tonight.” The smile Carson gave her made her heart beat faster. Everything about him just oozed sensual appeal.
    “I want to watch you
