    “Hey, bro, I don’t mean to interrupt,” Daniel said, walking toward them, and Lizzie was surprised she felt no compunction to hide her plump body. She was beautiful and sexy, but she noticed Daniel kept his eyes respectfully above her neckline.
    “Enjoy the show?” she said, hand on her hip.
    He grinned. “I did, actually. Can’t wait to get back to town and get my hands on something soft and curvy.”
    Lizzie gasped in surprise. He shrugged and chuckled.
    “My brother is a lucky man, and I hope to be half as lucky someday.”

    A new scent swept past Lizzie’s nose, and she leaned out to see around Daniel. Just entering the clearing were several bears. No one had to tell Lizzie who the one leading the group was. She already knew her scent—Annie. Lizzie bristled. The group hadn’t come with congratulations on their mind. They came with hostile intent.
    Patrick touched a hand to Lizzie’s belly. “Stay put, baby. Let me deal with this, and then I’ll take you home.”
    Lizzie cracked her knuckles. “No way. I’m with you Patrick, and I have to demonstrate to her you’re mine from now on.”
    In the blink of an eye, Lizzie shifted to her bear form and charged with Patrick into the fight that would show them all where she belonged and where she would remain from now on.
