Gabe. Rest assured, I’ll keep him in line. He won’t be giving you any unwanted attention.”
“Okay, but any talk of ménages and I’ll leave straight away.” The idea of having sex with both brothers at the same time turned her on, but she wasn’t ready to acknowledge that yet. Certainly not to a pair of randy cowboys who happened to live right next door to her. Perhaps staying around Buffalo Springs until her mother’s house sale went through wouldn’t be so bad after all.

    * * * *

    Two days later

Gabe glanced once more out the window. Madi was late. They’d arranged dinner for seven, and now it was almost eight. He supposed it was a woman’s prerogative, but he couldn’t help feeling that she might not turn up at all. Especially as the last time he’d seen her she’d been aiming a painful-looking stiletto at his head. He guessed he’d scared her when he’d mentioned the word ménage .
Tyler came through from the kitchen, having insisted on preparing their meal. “What are you smiling about?”
“Nothing much. Just wondering what sort of mood Madi will be in.”
“Well, certainly not in the mood to jump into bed with both of us.”
Gabe chuckled. “It hadn’t crossed my mind.”
“Fucking liar. Oh, look”—Tyler pointed outside—“there’s a pig flying past the barn.”
Ever since he’d learned that Tyler had fucked Madi, he’d been wondering how they’d persuade her that while two was good, three was definitely much better. There were so many variations. Just watching would be a turn-on in itself. Then there was participating. Gabe felt his cock harden at the mere thought of Madi sandwiched between them both. He knew the idea aroused her, too. If only he’d been a little more subtle instead of approaching the subject like a stallion with a hard-on, perhaps then she might have been more receptive to the idea.
Tyler touched his shoulder. “She’s just arrived, so remember to be on your best behavior, Gabe. Don’t screw this up.”
“Trust me, Ty, I won’t.” He rubbed the back of his head, remembering the stiletto that Madi had thrown bouncing off his skull. That day she’d been a little firebrand, both in and out of the sack.
Tyler went to answer the front door. He’d never seen his brother act this way with any other woman. Gabe knew that Madi had affected them both. He shook his head. Play it cool, cowboy, play it cool. Their fascination with her would most probably be short lived.
Gabe heard his brother talking and laughing with Madi on the porch, and then the sound of footsteps. He looked up as she came through the door. How the hell could he play it cool when she was the most desirable and beautiful woman he’d ever seen?
Long blonde hair fell around her shoulders, framing her perfect heart-shaped face. Her green eyes briefly scanned the interior of their home before coming to rest on him. A quiver of excitement coursed through his veins. Their connection felt tenfold. Madi still wanted him, of that he felt sure.
“Hi, Madi.” He tried to act nonchalant, but it was virtually impossible. The sight of her wearing a tight, low-cut yellow blouse, a miniscule white skirt, and black, knee-high leather boots proved almost too much. Gabe cleared his throat as he feasted on her ample cleavage and long, smooth legs. “It’s good to see you again.”
    “You too, Gabe.”
He held out his hand, motioning to the sofa. “Take a seat. Dinner won’t be long.”
    “Thank you.”
The atmosphere between them felt supercharged as she sat down. Her skirt rode higher up her thighs and she smoothed it back in shape with her beautifully manicured fingernails. Madi looked pure woman, and as he continued staring, her perfume assaulted his senses. Just being in the same room as her was intoxicating.
At a loss for what to say, Tyler came to his rescue. “Madi’s brought two bottles of wine with her.” His brother held out the bottles. “One red, one white.”
    “As I didn’t
