California. He couldn’t see himself living in L.A. and Kaylen couldn’t see herself living in Oakland. Ice packed up his suitcase because his plane was leaving tonight. He zipped it up and placed it by the door and got on the bed with her. He got on top of her and she tried to play mad.
“Why you gotta be mad?” he asked.
“Is it so bad of me wanting you to stay?”
“It’s not but you know I have business to handle.”
“If you didn’t would you be here with me?”
“You know I would,” he kissed her.
Ice had to put her in a good mood before he left so he made sweet love to her once again. He had to get another taste for the road. He didn’t know when he was coming back so he had to make much of it.

Kaylen drove home sad because Ice was gone. It was a struggle to make their relationship work. They really were really in a long distance relationship. She was even sadder knowing that Ice didn’t know when he would back.
When she got back home all she did was clean up and think. She didn’t like being alone most of the time because she was left to face her truths. This time she thought about Ice and how much she loved him. She didn’t even think she was moving fast because they had chemistry since they met. She didn’t care what anyone said she was team Ice and she was riding for him.
She went into her room to call Kandi. She missed her best friend. She could use some of Kandi’s words at the moment. Kandi always came through every time when Kaylen needed to hear something even if it was the truth.
“Wassup boo?” Kandi said when she answered.
“Hey, bestie.”
“Did Ice leave yet?”
“Yes I just dropped him off.”
“I could tell because now you could talk on the phone.”
“You’re always coming at me so foul,” Kaylen laughed.
“I’m just saying that every time Ice is around you don’t answer your phone like you’re scared he’s gonna beat yo’ ass.”
“Not even! I just be up under him.”
“Girl ain’t nothing wrong with that.”
“I miss him already!” she whined.
“I bet you do so when is he coming back?”
“He says that he doesn’t know yet.”
“Then why don’t you take your ass over to him?” Kandi asked not seeing what the problem could be.
“I don’t know!”
“What do you mean you don’t know?”
“Going to Oakland means it’s just me and him.”
“Like how it’s suppose to be. Stop trying to find excuses.”
“Blah blah blah.”
“You’re so damn childish Kaylen.”
“I know I need to grow up soon,” she laughed.
Chapter 16
It’s been two weeks since Ice left from L.A. Since then he has been putting in work on his side of town. He was pulling in money left and right. He needed to make sure that he made his quota every week and he was exceeding beyond that. Since he linked up with Jared and Donte business has never been better.
“Got the game from them old niggas, you gotta know where I’m from to get to know a nigga, I’m still glad I smoke weed, hiding from the police,” Ice rapped along with Future.
Ice was feeling himself. He was on top of the world. He didn’t have a care in the world other than his money. He was doing what he always wanted do. He knew that because business was booming fast he wouldn’t stop hustling any time soon. He also knew the part of the game where he had to pull out before it’s too late.
Oakland streets were live today as Ice drove through his hood. He’s never seen Oakland so live before. He was on his way back to his trap before he called Jared and Donte. He had business that needed them to fly out to Oakland. When he pulled up to his trap he walked straight in checking niggas. Everyone knew Ice was ruthless so they didn’t want to get on his bad side.
“Fuck is y’all jumping for? Y’all niggas ain’t strapped?” Ice asked hemming them up on the wall.
“We are Ice,” someone said waving his gun around.
“Alright lil’ niggas. Make sure y’all keep my shit on lock.
