I help you?” she asked looking at the delivery man.
    “ Delivery for a Desiree Young,” he said.
    “ That’s me,” she said. The delivery man handed her a clipboard.
    “ Sign here,” he said as he picked up a package from the floor. Desiree could not help noticing that the package had the same width as the painting she had given back to Leon earlier that day except that it was bigger.
    “ Thanks,” she said as the delivery guy walked away. She closed the door and ripped off the brown paper that covered the box. Once the box was exposed, she opened it and pulled out the very same painting Leon had offered her. She cursed under her breath as she pulled the painting out of the box. She noticed a note stuck at the back of the painting.
    I miss you and this painting just makes me miss you all the more.
    She was still looking at the painting when the Taylor walked up to her.
    “ Hey, we’re all waiting for you,” he said. “Nice painting. Where’s it from?” he asked. Desiree suddenly realized that she would have to come clean. Not just about the painting but about her entire day. She looked into Taylor’s eyes and sighed.
    “ Babe, we need to talk,” she said in a low voice.
