“ It’s okay. Most people haven’t heard about it either,” Tony said. “What it means is that you need to invest eighty percent of the amount, spend ten and give ten toward something you care about,” he added. Desiree looked at Taylor and smiled.
“ I think we can agree that he has already spent his ten percent,” she said. Taylor smiled.
“ Yeah, I have,” he said smiling.
“ That’s okay. All you have to do now is make sure you are disciplined enough to stick to your plan,” Tony said. Desiree looked at Taylor and smiled. In just ten minutes, Tony had given them information she had not been able to get in the last two days she had been searching the internet for the best way to invest Taylor’s winnings.
“ You really know your stuff,” Desiree said.
“ Well, I have only been doing it forever plus that is exactly what my company deals in,” Tony said. “Honestly I am surprised you never came to me,” he said.
“ In all this time, I never remembered that you are a financial consultant,” Taylor said.
“ Yeah, me neither. And we haven’t told Rochelle yet so there was absolutely no way we would have known,” Desiree said.
“ Well, I know how you can pay me back,” Tony said. Desiree raised an eyebrow.
    “ How?” she asked.
“ Well this has been a free session of course but you could bring me your business. Let me take care of the investment,” he said.
Taylor looked at Desiree and then shrugged.
“I guess we can make that work,” he said. Tony smiled and stretched his hand out to shake Taylor’s.
“ To business partners,” he said as he shook Taylor’s hand. Desiree looked at Tony and then at Taylor.
“ I guess that is solved,” she said as she stood up. Taylor looked at her as he held her hand.
“ Hey, where are you going?” he asked.
“ I was making dinner, remember?” she asked as she pulled her hand out of his and began walking towards the kitchen. When she got to the kitchen, she realized that her sister and cousin had done all the work. The beef was almost done. The rice was ready and the salad was already on the table. “Wow, you guys work fast,” she said.
“ I work in a café. Working fast is like my second name but Rochelle has been really surprising for the past few weeks,” Cynthia said.
“ Yeah, the other day she made breakfast. Pancakes,” Desiree said as she took some plates from one of the cabinets.
“ Hey, I am still in the room,” Rochelle said frowning. Desiree smiled and began setting the table.
“ I’m just saying sweetie, I have known you all your life and you could not even make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and now suddenly you are cooking? You can’t blame us for thinking that there is something different about you,” Desiree said.
“ Well, Tony is the only new thing in her life of late,” Cynthia said. She noticed Rochelle’s cheeks flush.
“ Tony is the only guy we know who has managed to stick around for this long,” Desiree said.
“ Oh yeah. Fess up, Roch,” Cynthia said smiling. “Guess he is a really good influence on you, huh?” she asked.
“ Guess so,” Rochelle said smiling.
“ So you are officially admitting that this is the one man who might make an honest woman out of you?” Cynthia asked.
“ Come on Cynthia. This is a no brainer. If there was anyone who would ever make an honest woman of my sister, it is Tony,” Desiree said as she placed the last plate on the table. Rochelle smiled as she took a bottle of wine from the fridge and began pouring it into glasses.
“ Enough about me and my love life. You better get the guys in here before the food gets cold,” she said without looking up. Desiree and Cynthia exchanged a knowing look before Desiree walked out of the kitchen and into the living room.
“ Hey guys, dinner’s ready. Come on in,” she said just as she heard the doorbell. She walked to the front door and opened it to see a delivery guy standing at the doorstep. “Can
