She needed only to obey and react. Gazing down at him, she knew she pleased him. She almost heard the clank as the chains that had bound her for so long fell away.

    “Thank you,” she whispered, unable to articulate everything she was feeling even when he tilted his head waiting for her go on.     Tremors immediately started through her as the angle hit her hot spot, setting her off. Adjusting, she kept on for the one who’d mastered her. In moments, his fingers tightened and he shoved her down on him with more force. She might be on top but he was in control. She sat up, palming her breast as he worked her. She couldn’t stop her smile as she gazed down at him. Happiness flooded through her.
    He surged up into her with a ragged bellow, his cock banging into her trigger point.
    Jessica let go, riding the riptide pulling through her. They both froze, captivated by the moment as they tried to catch their breath.
    Gently, he tugged her down into his embrace. His lips feathered over hers.

    She snuggled into him, pleased with herself, pleased to be in his arms and pushing the next morning from her thoughts as long as possible. Pragmatic Jessica desperately hoped that somehow Madam Zelda’s prediction for a successful conclusion would include a real life happily ever after.     A buzz blurred her thoughts and she focused on the sensation of his powerful arms holding her as if he’d never let go and the slight possessive pull at her neck. His lips pressed to her mussed hair. She must look a mess by now. She couldn’t rouse enough energy to even care.
    Her brow furrowed as the buzz went on, then she laughed.
    “I think the vibrator’s screwing the floor.” Absolute giddiness filled her spirit.
    Somehow tonight, she’d changed at his hands and peace filled her.

Chapter Four
    Jessica woke slowly, disoriented by the light shining in her eyes. Where the heck was she? She blinked then opened one eye. Mmm…yeah. She was in the dungeon master’s bed. They’d made love again last night—despite the situation, that’s what it had been. Sweet. Tender—then they’d fallen asleep. Neither of them had had the energy to switch off the torch lights.
    It had to be near morning. A rock settled in her belly. She had to get moving so she wasn’t late for work.
    She wrinkled her nose. Work. There was no way she was going back to being the person she’d been before. She’d figure out a way to handle the pressures without destroying herself anymore.
    Turning, she glanced at the man who’d done so much for her. The leash she yet wore was still wrapped around his hand and pulled at her throat. Carefully, she unhooked it. She didn’t want to wake him. She couldn’t bear the final scene when he sent her on her way.
    His mask was hiked up slightly on one side but not enough to reveal his identity.
    Her fingers flexed as she fought the temptation to push it up and see what he looked like. She didn’t dare. Sliding from the bed, she contemplated how she would get her things from upstairs and almost
