lunch?” she asked. “Is that why you’re so cheerful?”
“Hell no. I’m supposed to be searching for the keys to helicopter.” He chuckled. “Jack doesn’t know I’m here. But I couldn’t possibly go near this room without stopping in and visiting the enchanting woman that that resides within.”
She lifted a skeptical brow. “You’re such a flirt.”
    “And?” he pressed.
    “I like it. It’s cute.”
Jonathan puffed his chest out. “It’s nice to know I haven’t lost my touch with the ladies.”
“I doubt that would ever happen,” she said, patting his knuckles gently.
Another knock on her door had Jonathan grumbling under his breath.
“Do you want to hide under the bed just in case it’s Jack?” she teased.
    “Fuck it.”
Smiling, she withdrew her hand. “It’s open.”
Jordan walked in, saw his brother, and scowled. “Aren’t you supposed to be searching for something?”
    Jonathan shrugged. “I am.”
“I highly doubt you left the keys in here.”
“Perhaps I did.” Jonathan shifted a glance at her before returning it to Jordan. “Do you really want me to find them?”
Jordan sent him warming look as he drew near. “Ori, I was about to start lunch. Is there something special you want?”
She forced a smile. “Yes, a shower, maybe a change of clothes, and a walk.”
    “Not yet. Maybe in—”
“Look, I need a shower at least. I’ll run around naked if you can’t find my clothes or let me borrow something to wear, and I’ll forgo the walk, but please, I desperately want to bathe.”
Jonathan laughed. “Yep, we lost your clothes and we have no clothes you can borrow,” he teased. “You’ll just have to go around naked. Don’t worry, we won’t look…much.”
Oriana rolled her eyes. She needed to be strong, or she’d be stuck on bed rest forever.
She glared at the middle brother. “I’m taking a shower.”
“Sweetheart,” Jordan smoothed. “I can’t allow you to do that. It’s only been three days since—”
“Jordan, dear , I’m fine. I doubt the shower will kill me. But if you try to stop me from completing said task, I might be forced to kill you.”
Crossing his arms across his chest, Jordan frowned. “Well, aren’t we a sassy thing this morning?”
    “You have no idea.”
Between Jonathan’s mirth and the sexy look of disapproval on Jordan’s face, it took all she had not to smile. They really were just too adorable. It was hard for her to stay mad at them—and hell, even harder to win a fight, she realized, when their charms disarmed her of her anger so easily.
    So why fight?
Oriana gave Jordan with her most innocent expression. “Okay, you win,” she conceded. There’s nothing you can do to stop me. I’ll just take a shower after you leave.
His next words convinced her he was a mind reader.
“I’ll be turning off the water in your bathroom when I leave here.”
    “Seriously?”
“It’s for your own good. You need to stay in bed. I don’t think you’re strong enough to stand on your feet for the duration of—”
    That was it!
Lurching forward, she tried to crawl over Jonathan so she could show Jordan just how strong she was, but the younger brother captured her in his arms and set her back.
“Calm down, Ori,” Jonathan said, laughing. “Let me try.”
    She huffed and nodded.
“Don’t you think you’re being a little unreasonable, Jordan?”
“No, I don’t. It’s dangerous. What if she gets dizzy, falls, and hits her head?”
“Fine,” she bit out. “I’ll take a bath then.”
“And should you slip getting in and out of the tub?” Jordan countered. “Or pass out and slide beneath the water and drown?”
Oriana threw up her arms. “Look! You can stay in there with me. I don’t care! But goddamn it, I’m going to exercise my right to hygiene if it kills you both.”
“Don’t you mean ‘if it kills me’?” Jonathan asked.
She shook her head adamantly. “No, I mean you . I know it’s not
