it?”
“Um… yes.”
“So did you get the job?” Beau asked Harper as she made her way around him in the hall.
She couldn't help the smile that spread over her face.
“I did,” she told him.
“Good. I'll be looking forward to seeing much more of you,” his smile would have erased all of the memories of his arrogance if she had let it.
She couldn't keep herself from being just a little bit charmed by the guy. His charisma was overflowing and his personality lit up the room.
He would be the life of the party anywhere he went.
Her body was working against her mind when it came to the warning signs and red flags of this guy.
She could tell he was no good.
He was trouble – no doubt about it.
And she could tell he wasn't her type… but she’d be damned if she didn't want to kiss him and find her way down those beautiful lines of his body.
“Lovely to meet you, Harper. It’s always good to have more pretty girls around here. I'll see you around.”
Harper smiled and her wobbly legs walked out the doors.
“Nice butt,” Beau whispered as she disappeared through the doors, watching her go. “Yum.”
Beau wanted to get his hands on those gentle curves.
“You look confused,” one of Beau’s team members walked past.
“Uh?” he hadn’t realized he was in a daze.
“You’re standing there, staring at nothing.”
Reality sank into Beau and he realized that Harper was long gone, and he had been in a daze about the girl.
But what was it about Harper that made him want to forget everything but the way her gorgeous green eyes looked up into his and the way she smelled like strawberries in June and looked like she could melt the ice caps with that body of hers?
The curves on her body put other women to shame.
“Hot damn,” he mumbled as he walked away from the doors.
