Fated
typewriter that my dad brought home for me one day. I don't think he realized what a gift he gave me. Before that typewriter, I was filling any paper I could find with longhand, telling the stories of the characters that lived in my head. That very first novel is thankfully buried in a box in my mom's basement, but it did teach me a lot about what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
When I'm not living out the lives of the fascinating characters that live in my head, I can be found studying web design and working on my MBA in Marketing. I'm also a mom, so I have managed to develop some really awesome time management skills - no really, I write after my kids go to bed and on the weekends, just like everyone else I know does. Yes, my house is a mess, but at least I manage to put hot food on the table every night. My kids seem to think that's a good enough trade off.
