against the head
board. “I do too,” she replied. “I really do. I just didn’t think you would…”
He cupped her cheek with hi palm, forcing her to look into his eyes. “I
can’t tell you how fucking hot it was to watch you with him. Imagining the
pleasure he was giving you, seeing you responding to him like you did. I was
proud to know you were mine.”
Her eyes darkened as she gazed back at him and he knew his words were
having the desired effect. He continued, “Cole is a giving lover, much gentler
than I am. With the two of us you have the best of both worlds. I want you to
have that.”
“I-it’s definitely a unique experience with both of you,” she
whispered. “And having you together blows my mind.”
He grinned, pure masculine pride welling in his chest. “That’s what I
hoped, what we both wanted. So this weekend we can explore that chemistry even
further. Maybe we can do a little more to blow your mind.”
“T-this weekend? Cole’s coming down again?”
“Yep. That was him I was texting earlier. Seems he’s been having the
same thoughts about our little tag teaming and wanted more too. That’s how
desirable you are, angel. You have two men craving your touch, wanting you till
it’s all we can think about.”
She flushed again but a pleased smile touched her lips. “I crave you
too, both of you. It’s funny, but I always thought that I couldn’t desire
another man the way I desire you. Now it’s almost as if…”
    “As if what?”
Her eyes fell and he could tell she was struggling to say the right
thing so as not to hurt his feelings. “Well, as if I was made for him, too.”
He smiled gently, lifting her chin so her eyes met his again. “Who
knows, maybe you were. Only time will tell. For now, let’s just live this
fantasy we’ve created for ourselves and enjoy each other. How’s that?”
She mirrored his smile. “Sounds perfect.”
Jared couldn’t have agreed more. Bending his head, he closed lips over
hers, capturing them in a deep, passionate kiss. He was blessed to have such a
woman and he wanted nothing more to be deep inside her now, sealing their love
in anticipation of what was to come.

    Chapter Seven

On Friday evening Julie fairly ran out of the school building,
clutching her books to her chest and her bag under her arm as she hurried to
meet Jared in the parking lot. She hadn’t driven her own car that morning since
they’d decided to leave for the coast as early as possible because the drive
was over an hour long. Jared had booked two rooms for them in a cozy little
resort area down there and instead of picking Cole up, he’d be driving down
himself in a rental.
She found Jared leaning against the side of the Jeep, looking like a
sexy slice of heaven in faded jeans and a simple v-neck white t-shirt. He
pushed off the car and walked to meet her as she approached. When he got to
her, he placed a quick kiss on her cheek before taking the books from her
hands.
    “Hey you,” he said.
“Hey yourself.” She fell into step beside him as they completed the
short trip to the Jeep then hopped into the passenger seat when he pulled the
door open for her.
After tossing her books onto the backseat, he rounded the vehicle and
hopped in beside her. “All set?” he asked as he gunned the engine.
She nodded, settling into her seat. “Yep. You do have all the stuff
right?”
    “Of course. It’s all here.”
He pulled out of the parking lot and headed for the highway that would
take them away from Barker Wood. As he turned onto it, Julie reached out and
turned the radio on, turning to their favorite station and Maroon 5’s ‘Animals’
flooded the cabin of the Jeep.
“Heck yes,” Jared said, shooting her a quick smile before turning back
to the road.
She winked at him then settled back in her seat, bobbing her head to
the music as they sped down the highway. Coldplay’s ‘Midnight’ was next,
followed by Imagine Dragon’s ‘Demons’
