and they were both singing along with
gusto. She wasn’t sure when she fell asleep but the next thing she knew, Jared
was nudging her and whispering, “Wake up, angel, we’re here.”
She stretched languidly, like a satiated cat, then opened her eyes to
see that they were indeed in the parking lot of the Jewel Cove Inn. “Wow, that
was quick,” she muttered, swinging her legs from the Jeep and allowing Jared to
help her out of the seat.
Jared made sure she was steady on her feet before he let her go and
moved to pick up their bags. “One hour and twenty minutes, babe. You slept
through most of it.”
“I guess I was more tired than I imagined,” she said as she retrieved
her handbag then locked up the Jeep.
    “Yeah, I guess so.”
They walked together into the lobby of the hotel and Julie took a seat
in the waiting area until Jared had checked them in and collected their keys. A
few minutes later they were following a young porter to the elevator which
would take them to their second floor room. Once inside, Julie set her bag down
then walked over to the glass door at the far end of the room and opened it to
step out on the balcony. The view below was breathtaking. The aquamarine waters
of the pool were bordered by huge palm trees. There were also several little
cabanas with billowing curtains and inviting beds inside them. Numerous half
naked people lounged around on pool side chairs, sipping iced beverage from
long stemmed glasses and laughing gaily.
She took a deep breath, inhaling the balmy breeze as she heard the door
slide open behind her. Then Jared’s arms were sliding around her waist, his
cheek coming to rest against hers. This was where they had honeymooned and it
just seemed right that he’d chosen this spot for them to add a whole new
dimension to their relationship.
      “Gorgeous, isn’t it?” he asked,
pressing his against her ear.
She smiled as a shiver of anticipation coursed up her spine.
“Extremely. I hope Cole likes it as much as we do, although it might not be up
to the standard he’s used to.”
“He’ll love it, don’t worry about that. Cole might come from wealth but
he doesn’t have his head stuck up his ass.”
    Julie giggled. “That’s certainly true.”
“Yes, everything will be just fine,” Jared said, letting go of her and
moving away. “He should be here pretty soon. What do you say we go get out of
these travel clothes and freshen up before dinner?”
Julie spun around to face him, her mouth lifting in a sassy smirk. “Why
Mr. Matthews, are you propositioning me?”
Jared threw his head back and laughed heartily. “Always, Mrs.
Matthews,” he said, bending to kiss her on the lips. “But I won’t take
advantage of you just yet. I want you needy and desperate for your two men
later on.”
She grinned. “Oh my, sounds like torture.”
“It certainly will be … torturous pleasure. Now get inside and go get
dolled up for us. You can have the shower first.” He gave her ass a firm slap
and she squealed with delight as she hurried passed him through the balcony
door.

Cole walked into the dining room
several minutes after they’d been seated by the waiter and given the menu. He
walked purposefully toward them, devastatingly handsome in all black. His dress
shirt was neatly tucked into his hip hugging slacks, with the sleeves cuffed to
expose his muscled upper arms. The corners of his mouth lifted in a smile when
he got to their table, making him appear even sexier than before. Julie
swallowed hard. Anticipation and excitement swelled in her belly, and liquid
heat making her center slick.
“Sorry I’m late,” he said as he pulled his chair out and sat down. “Had
to take a nap after the drive down.”
“That’s okay,” Julie said, giving him a warm smile. “We only got down
here a few minutes ago ourselves.”
He winked at her, making her
face redden with a hot blush and she looked away as Jared’s voice broke into
the
